h1. Configure webdav on Android > %{color:red} *WARNING* {{warn}} This is only valid for those of you who have a Zimbra account% account h2. Installation of the necessary packages * First install "FDroid":https://f-droid.org/, an app market which allows you to download many APK(Android application package)s which are in the FOSS(free open source software) system, you must probably allow to install from uncertified sources in your Android settings * From the FDroid app market install "icsdroid":https://f-droid.org/en/packages/at.bitfire.icsdroid/ and "davdroid":https://f-droid.org/packages/at.bitfire.davdroid/ ICSDroid will make the link between a CalDav formatted calendar and the Android ICS(Internet Calendar and Scheduling) format, DAVDroid will allow you to read the CalDAV and DAVCard format from the Zimbra server. h2. Configuration * Open up DAVDroid * Click on the + sign to add an account * Configure using a server with login credentials and use the following information * server: https://webmail.grenoble-inp.fr/dav (you can check settings of the DAV server by downloading the XML(extended markup language) file of your account at https://webmail.grenoble-inp.fr/dav/{login} where {login} is your Zimbra login * user: your Zimbra login or user name (generic format is first_name.last_name) * password: the password you use to log into Zimbra * Choose how you want to present groups in DAVCards: single VCF(virtual contact file) card for a group or group tag on individual VCF(virtual contact file) cards * Check all calendars you want to show up in your Android calendar app, you will be able to read from and write to your calendars!
